Our house, awarded with 4 Edelweiss, is located in the heart of Obergurgl – the "Diamond of the Alps". Just around 200 meters from the ski area and village center, you’ll enjoy the perfect combination of tranquility, comfort, and an unbeatable alpine location.

Obergurgl / Hochgurgl is one of the most snow-sure ski resorts in Europe – thanks to its high altitude of over 1,900 meters and state-of-the-art snowmaking systems. With over 120 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, 25 modern lifts with no waiting times, and a calm, family-friendly atmosphere, Gurgl is a true insider tip for ski lovers and families alike.
With the Ötztal Superskipass, you gain access to 361 kilometers of slopes across six ski resorts – including Sölden with its two glaciers. Fun parks, ski tours, cross-country trails, and breathtaking runs – such as the 8,4 km descent from the Wurmkogel with 1,300 meters of elevation – make every skier's heart beat faster.

In summer, Obergurgl shows its peaceful and nature-loving side. Whether you’re hiking through the Gurgler Valley, cycling over the Timmelsjoch Pass, or conquering one of the 21 surrounding three-thousand-meter peaks – your adventure starts right at our doorstep.
With the Ötztal Inside Summer Card (included from the second day of your stay), you enjoy free use of summer lifts, public transport, and entry to many museums, thermal baths, and attractions – such as the Aqua Dome, Area 47, or the James Bond Museum at 3048 meters in Sölden.
Skiing for All Levels
Obergurgl offers a ski kids club and five ski schools, with mostly easy to intermediate slopes, perfect for beginners and families. But ambitious skiers won’t miss out either! Head up to the Wurmkogel (3,082 m) or the panoramic Hohe Mut (high courage) – the name alone hints at the adventure. The region also offers spectacular ski touring routes, such as through the "Königstal (Kingsvalley)". If you're in good shape, you can ski from the Wurmkogel all the way down to Obergurgl – conquering 1,300 vertical meters in one thrilling 8,4 km descent.
